We think it's about time we got down to the Club to celebrate Marist and get the kids excited for the upcoming season! So we are holding an OPEN DAY on Saturday 26th March, 2-4pm at the Club! (Team Muster Day will now be Saturday 9th April instead).

It will be an outdoor event, and we will do everything to keep it as safe as possible. 

So what is OPEN DAY all about? We want to generate some excitement around rugby and our Club, get the buzz going for the season! This event is not only for recruiting and registering new members, but also for our already registered members to come and enjoy!

We understand there is still some nervousness and uncertainty in the community, with many families still to commit to rugby as they 'wait and see' what will happen. Let us reassure you, the season will definitely be going ahead, so if you know anyone having doubts, please help us to reassure them. We as a Club will do everything to make it a fun, safe and enjoyable environment and experience in 2022.

Open Day is a great chance to spread the word and get friends along to find out what Marist is about and to register with our awesome Club. On the day we will have the following on offer for those new and those already registered:

• FOOD: Free for the kids (sausage sizzle, ice creams!)
• ACTIVITIES: safe, fun games for the kids on the field
• GIVEAWAYS galore! (including a $50 Rebel Sport voucher spot prize)
• GEAR: Opportunity to check out sizing
• SECOND HAND gear/boots for sale
• WEIGH-IN for any tackle players that haven't registered an official weight yet
• MEET and chat to key Marist personnel
• WELCOME PACK: Players can collect their new Drawstring Bag with goodies inside!
• BRING A FRIEND to sign up, and get a free Marist cap or playing shorts!

In conjunction with Open Day, we will also be doing a big push on Facebook and Instagram to get our follower numbers up and engaged, and we need your help. There will be a chance to win another $50 Rebel Sport Voucher by liking & commenting (& even sharing) the competition when it gets posted next week. The more members we get following us on socials, the more we can promote our great Club to our community, friends, family and beyond! Remember, comments are 4x more valuable than likes!
