MARIST NH JUNIORS

J6 NINJAS
J6 Ninjas played a great game against North Shore last Friday night under lights. Not only did the players have to deal with a good Shore team and the cold, they also had to deal with the distraction of βwow, look at those massive bugs flying around the flood lightsβ towards the back end of the game. It was entertaining for all!
π Player of the Day: Corban Lumsden
π Coaches Award: Rocco Robinson
π Opposition POD: Rocco Robinson
J7 RED TIGERS
In the real βBlues vs Redsβ game of the weekend, it turned out to be a draw between the two Marist J7's. There were some wonderful tries from the Red Tigers from a number of players. Slow defence at times is something to work on, but this is a team with a lot of passion.
π Player of the Day: Lottie Baines
π Coaches Award: Harrison Gott
π Opposition POD: Isabella Florian
J7 BLUE TIGERS
A great even match against our fellow Red Tigers saw both teams playing entertaining rugby. Great things to come from these teams! New player Jax played good running rugby, and Christian really has improved his game in all apsects.

U15 GIRLS RIP OPALS
U15 Girls had a hard tussle with Silverdale and came out on top on a chilly Friday night. a great experience for the girls to play under lights and have the after match experience. Cold hands meant a few handling errors for both teams, but a great kicking game from Harmony and some desperate D by the girls got us on top winning 15-13.
π Player of the Day: Harmony Naeata
π Coaches Award: Indigo Sharp
U11 GIRLS RIP SAPPHIRES
Our new U11 Girls Rip Rugby team had a fantastic start to their season, with 10 tries under our belt. Great team spirit and a willingness to learn. Two key opposition players broke our defence repeatedly, and nipped us for the win by one try. Special mention for Aby for her attacking play, including 4 tries; and Summer for a noticeable improvement in confidence and concentration.

π Coaches Award: Summer Fullam
π Opposition POD: Aby Livesey-Unasa
