MARIST NH CLUB DAY & CLUB NIGHT THIS SATURDAY!
This Saturday 20th May sees all 13 of our teams playing at home.

During the morning, we will have a bouncy castle, face painting, and the Saints Cafe will be running a sausage sizzle, bake sale, as well as candy floss and popcorn! Junior games run at 8:40am, 9:20am, 10:30am and 11:40am.

Our Seniors then play in the afternoon at 1:00pm and 2:45pm. This will flow from Club Day into Club Night, with the 100 Club draw at 5pm, and a DJ from 7pm, along with some awesome drinks specials. Club Night is free entry, and is open to all our members.

Let's make this a day and night to remember, celebrating the great Club that is Marist North Harbour - Go The Saints!

MARIST NH SENIORS

RECREATIONAL SERVICES PREMIER 1
Sat 13th May: After a disruptive couple of weeks for the Premier side, we were faced with the exciting challenge of taking on the in form Massey side at Moire Park.

A few mental lapses tarnished what was an impressive first half, striking fear into the home team at the break after we applied immense pressure to Massey's defensive line. A couple of instances where we were unable to turn pressure into points was the difference at halftime. In the second half, we were unable to build momentum off the back of mistakes or poor decision-making under pressure.

The coaches and players will review and reflect on their individual and collective performances before turning their focus to a massive weekend ahead for the Club. The Premier team is very excited about Marist North Harbour Club Day this weekend. We will be preparing to the best of our ability to put on a performance that the community can be proud of against a red-hot Takapuna side. We would love to see any and all down at the Club on Saturday supporting our teams representing our great Club.

J6 Ninjas played a great game against North Shore last Friday night under lights. It was entertaining for all!

πŸ‰ Coaches Award: Rocco Robinson

In the real β€˜Blues vs Reds’ game of the weekend, it turned out to be a draw between the two Marist J7's. There were some wonderful tries from the Red Tigers from a number of players. Slow defence at times is something to work on, but this is a team with a lot of passion.

U15 GIRLS RIP OPALS
U15 Girls had a hard tussle with Silverdale and came out on top on a chilly Friday night. a great experience for the girls to play under lights and have the after match experience. Cold hands meant a few handling errors for both teams, but a great kicking game from Harmony and some desperate D by the girls got us on top winning 15-13.
πŸ‰ Player of the Day:  Harmony Naeata
πŸ‰ Coaches Award: Indigo Sharp

U11 GIRLS RIP SAPPHIRES
Our new U11 Girls Rip Rugby team had a fantastic start to their season, with 10 tries under our belt. Great team spirit and a willingness to learn. Two key opposition players broke our defence repeatedly, and nipped us for the win by one try. Special mention for Aby for her attacking play, including 4 tries; and Summer for a noticeable improvement in confidence and concentration.
πŸ‰ Player of the Day:  Aby Livesey-Unasa
πŸ‰ Coaches Award: Summer Fullam
