All Black, Steve McDowall. Steve is an exciting addition for the saints and brings a wealth of experience and professionalism gained from over 15 years of first class rugby, a world cup title and over a decade of coaching from grass roots right through to the international level.}

_{Steve’s philosophy is based around establishing a performance culture where amateur players are encouraged and supported to approach the game on and off the field with a professional mindset, readying young men to dominate at Premier level and giving them the best chance to maximise opportunities within the professional game. He has a strong emphasis on fitness and conditioning and will bring a trainer with him. His full coaching team is yet to be confirmed but will be announced within the coming weeks.}

_{It’s exciting times for the club; Steve is taking charge of a young talented squad, laden with Harbour caps at various age grades and will build upon the prolific work of Paul Mant who took the team from the reserve grade to a constant top-6 performer in the space of a few years. In congratulating Steve on the appointment, we would also like to take the opportunity to thank Paul and his team on an incredibly successful 3 years of re-building.}
